I spend a lot of time staying at home, because I work from home. I like to play dress up whenever I need to run errands or am out for a night out with my husband (because I don’t get out that often). I am a big fan of wedges because they make my short legs look longer and leaner and I feel very feminine when I wear them. Plus, they really match with any outfit, whether it be a dress or a skirt or jeans and a shirt. I
shrieked like a little girl when I opened my new box of Rio Grande Wedges from Ugglebo. All of the clogs are handmade in Sweden. The Rio Grande Wedges are available in two colors: Red and Purple Ash. The wedges have a heel height of 4.1″ and feature a Spanish pine wood bottom with nubuc leather upper.
The Rio Grande Wedges are normally $179 online, but, right now, they are on sale for only $116.35 (that’s over $62 in savings!). Trust me, these wedges are worth the price! They are cute, stylish and super comfortable. The soft purple ash color is the perfect color to rock out in any season and matches with almost any other color that you want to wear.
I am normally a size 7-7.5 in US shoe sizes and I received the size 38 shoe from Ugglebo, which, is supposed to be comparable to a US 7.5-8. As you can see in the pictures below, these wedges fit me perfectly, so, I would honestly say that they run a little small. I would plan on ordering a size bigger than what you normally wear.
The leather on the wedges is very soft and is stapled onto the sides of the wood bottoms, to give these shoes a classic look. The leather straps are adjustable so that you can walk in comfort and the edge of the strap features the Owl Logo imprint, which, is actually very cute! I love my new wedges and can’t wait until they are fully broken in so that I can wear them everywhere I go!
