My kids and I have sensitive skin and it can be difficult to find a good laundry detergent that doesn’t irritate our skin. We also have a high efficiency washing machine, which, makes it that much more tough to find a detergent that is safe and gentle. Nellie’s All Natural provides a biodegradable, non-toxic and hypoallergenic laundry soda that is also safe to use in HE Washing Machines. One 1.6 lb bag is only $9.99 online and provides enough laundry soda to do 50 loads of laundry. The bag itself is very thick, so, you won’t have to worry about breaking it or making holes and it also has a re-sealable top. There is also a measuring cup inside the bag so that you just scoop the soda into the machine and let it work it’s magic. The measuring spoon is the same size as one tablespoon and makes it easy to scoop and pour.

 

I also like that it has a fresh and clean scent to it and my dirty clothes come out of the washing machine smelling super clean. You also don’t have to worry about nasty chemicals because Nellie’s All Natural Laundry Soda is made without them. The laundry soda is actually made with a coconut oil based sufactant and is therefore an extremely low allergen. This is true, because I have used this laundry soda about 10 times now and none of us girls have any sensitivity issues to it. I also love that it is highly concentrated, which means that only 1 tablespoon is powerful enough to wash a small or large load. This laundry soda is the good stuff!
