If you ask anyone who lives with me, they would say that I spend most of my time in the kitchen. I absolutely love to cook because that means that I get to experiment and explore new food dishes. I have to admit that as much as I like to cook, it is always a real treat to try food that someone else has prepared, every once in awhile. Petit Amuse allows you to explore delicious and gourmet Artisan food with their monthly sample box. The sample box is only $10 a month (with free shipping) and features 3-4 sample size food products for you to try at home. You then have the option of purchasing the food that you love via the Petit Amuse online website.
My sample box arrived and I was so excited to dive right in and see the new goodies that I would get to sample. I was very impressed to find an information card in the box that listed each food product, the manufacturer and the ingredients in each product. My monthly sample box included the following food products to try:
Ice Wine Jelly by Caramoomel
Garukabar by Garukabars
Cha-Chas and Salted Rosemary Shortbread by Lark Fine Foods
Original Kettle Corn by Oogie’s Gourmet Popcorn
One of my favorite products is the Garukabar because it is a handmade all natural energy bar that tastes fresh and sweet! It was so much better than a regular granola bar that you buy in bulk from the grocery store. One big Garukabar is available online at the Petit Amuse website for $3.
Another favorite is the Ice Wine Jelly because as soon as you open the jar and take in the aroma, it smells like a glass of wine. It actually tastes like a sweet grape jelly and doesn’t have that alcohol taste to it. My kids and I love spreading this jelly on toast! One 4 oz jar is only $6.99, if you purchase it on the Petit Amuse website.
The $10 you spend on the sample box is definitely worth it! All of the food products were so tasty and it was a very pleasurable experience for my taste buds.

I think the Salted Rosemary Shortbread sounds really good because I like the whole sweet and savory flavors together sometimes. One of the best chocolates I’ve ever had was some kind of rosemary cream.
