I have a ritual of vacuuming and cleaning my tile floors every week. I like that the vacuum picks up most of the debris on the floor, but, the mop just doesn’t cut it for me. I always think about how many germs must be left over on the mop every time I use it. There has to be a better way! There is a 3-in-1 HANN Total Steam Sweeper that cuts your floor cleaning time down in half! The HD60 Steam Sweeper actually sweeps your floors and sanitizes at the same time! This HAAN Total Steam Sweeper machine is great to use on carpet, vinyl, tile, laminate and hardwood.
The HAAN Total Steam Sweeper is available online for $149.95 and comes with 2 Reusable Ultra Micro-Fiber Cleaning Pads, Carpet Glide Attachment, Floor Protector/Resting Pad, Lime and Scale Remover and Users Manual and Warranty Card. It literally took me only 10 minutes to read through the manual to figure out how to put the machine together and start using it…very easy! I was so excited about the thought of being able to steam and sweep all at the same time, which, meant that I didn’t have to vacuum and mop anymore. This completely cut my time down in half, so that I could focus on doing other things that needed to get done around the house.
The machine is very lightweight and easy to maneuver around, especially since it has a low profile swivel head. The motorized brush roll does a great job at picking up debris and then adding it to the easy to empty dust bin. I also appreciate the long electric cord so that I can work on my floor for long distances without having to keep finding electrical outlets to re-plug it in to. There is also a removable water tank that you fill up with tap water and that is what provides the steam to sanitize your floor surface. The steam mop function kills 99.9% of household germs, bacteria and dust mites without the use of any chemicals…just extremely hot steam.
I have been using this machine on my tile flooring and just love it! You simply place the machine on the floor protector/resting pad, fill the water tank, plug the machine in, turn on the machine and wait for 20 seconds (for the machine to heat up). Then you simply place a Micro-Fiber pad onto the head of the machine and then hold the machine at a 25 degree angle and start sanitizing and sweeping your floors. You can see the steam “streaks” on the floors and there is no water puddles or drops on the floor. The steam literally disappears within seconds, leaving only fresh and clean floors.
Once you are done, you empty the leftover water from the water tank, remove the Micro-Fiber pad and place the machine back on the resting pad for about 5 minutes (to cool down) and then store your unit wherever you like. The Micro-Fiber pad will show you how much additional dirt that machine picked up off the flooring and you can actually wash them by hand and re-use them over and over again!
