I am a big fan of the potato because I love the way potatoes taste.  I also appreciate all the different things that you can make with potatoes. Peeling and cutting potatoes can take some time to make though, especially if you are as busy as I am. Simply Potatoes makes life in the kitchen just a little easier, by providing you with a variety of potato products that are ready to be cooked or baked. Simply Potatoes products can be found in the refrigerated section at your local grocery store.

I decided to pick up a bag of O’Brien Hash Browns. These hash browns are made with fresh shredded potatoes and include red and green bell peppers. The big 20 oz bag also included a recipe on the side that looked like a delicious meal to serve to my family for breakfast. The recipe on the side was for a Hearty Breakfast Skillet that included using ham, eggs, shredded cheese and grape tomatoes. I left the tomatoes out because my kids are not super fond of tomatoes.

The recipe literally took under 30 minutes to make and created enough food for 5-6 people. My kids really enjoyed it and it filled up our tummies. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way that I like them. I love using Simply Potatoes hash browns because I would never be able to make hash browns from scratch…they are way too difficult. Simply Potatoes gives me restaurant style hash browns that I can cook and enjoy at home.
