Review – Conditioning & Detangling Hair Care Products for Kids by Fairy Tales

Over the past several years, I have noticed that my twin girls have extremely sensitive scalps. I have to be very careful about what hair care products I buy for them so that they don’t become itchy or flaky. One of my top priorities is finding natural hair care products that don’t contain harsh chemicals. Fairy Tales Hair Care for Children offers a variety of kids hair care products to suit your little ones needs. My girls were able to test out the Conditioning Shampoo, Detangling Conditioner and Static Free Leave in Detangling Spray. Each of these products is available in a big 12 oz size and are only $8.95 each.

The Conditioning Shampoo is PH balanced for all hair types and is great for children and adults. It is enriched with ProVitamins B and E to provide a deep cleanse and hydrate the hair and scalp. This shampoo is pretty thick in consistency and lathers up a storm. I had my daughter wet her hair really well and then massaged about a quarter sized amount of shampoo into her hair. My daughter has long hair, so, that amount worked perfectly for her hair length. Her hair felt very clean and didn’t irritate her scalp.

The Static Free Leave In Detangling Spray is made with natural ingredients like Aloe Vera, Rose Hips, Sage and Oak Bark. This detangling spray not only helps to eliminate tangles, but, also conditions the hair and removes static electricity. What I love about this product, is that you can use it on wet or dry hair. My girls have naturally wavy hair that tends to get tangles, whether it is dry or wet. I like to spritz a light mist on their hair and then work out the tangles with a brush. This really helps to make it easy to remove the tangles, without hurting them and no more static electricity!

The Detangling Conditioner is also amazing! This conditioner is made with natural ingredients, like: Rosemary, Cherry Bark, Aloe Vera and Chamomile. These natural ingredients help to fully moisturize hair and create luster without the tangles. Apply a small amount to hair (after you have used shampoo) and work it through the hair and scalp with your fingers and then rinse clean. My kids hair is so soft and bouncy after they use this conditioner….and, we just love it!

ABOUT FAIRY TALES (from their website):

Fairy Tales Hair Care was created over 20 years ago in the Fairy Tales Salon in Hewlett, NY. For years, parents would ask the stylists what were these products that made their children’s hair so soft and manageable. But our stylists just smiled and said it was our secret recipe! The Fairy Tales Hair Care line was launched nationally in 1999 with great success! Within one week of our launch, Rosie O’ Donnell was showing off her bottle of Rosemary Repel Shampoo on her talk show. We were a hit! Parents and kids love these natural products loaded with organic herbs to cleanse, condition style and most importantly, help repel hair lice.

All of the fairy Tales products are paraben and sodium laureth sulfate free and use the finest ingredients such as Vitamins A,B and E and passion flower, aloe, jojoba, rose hips, sage, cherry bark and chamomile to help make bath time an easy time for parents and children.
