My kids are always asking for snacks, everyday after they get home from school. My girls are growing so fast, they are like little eating machines now. I always make sure that I have nutritious food that they will enjoy and benefit from. One of my kids new found favorites are the fruit puree pouches by Peter Rabbit Organics. These squeezable pouches contain 4 ounces of 100% organic pure fruit puree or 100% organic pure vegetable and fruit puree.

There are four different fruit puree blends to choose from: Strawberry and Banana, Apple and Grape, Peach and Apple and Mange, Banana and Orange. I was surprised that they were also available at my local grocery store. What I love about this product is that it is made with all fruit and all vegetables …no added sugar or anything artificial. Each pouch also contains 1.5-2 grams of fiber and are high in Vitamin C. My kids love that they are squeezable and come with a lid. That way, they can stick them in the refrigerator to chill, if they want to eat them later.

The vegetable and fruit pouches are more for little ones (babies and toddlers), but, my girls really enjoy the taste of the fruit pouches. There are three different fruit and veggie blends available: Carrot, Squash and Apple, Pea, Spinach and Apple, Sweet Potato, Corn and Apple. All of the fruits and vegetables in the Peter Rabbit Organics snacks are certified organic. The pouches are BPA free and have a no-choke cap, which, makes it great for little ones! My kids think these taste like an updated version of apple sauce…apple sauce with other fruit flavors. My girls just love them and that makes me happy that they enjoy healthy snacks.

    This Gramma tries very hard to give the kids GOOD snacks! I don’t think giving unhealthy things are a nice thing to do (unlike my husband, who always has candy bars to give the grandkids!) I would really like these fruit pouches. I think the kids would like the mango, banana and Orange one.
