The 80′s bring back such great memories for me. I remember all the fun fashions, hair do’s, music, movies and candy. Those were the good ole days when I didn’t have to worry about much of anything but being a kid and having fun. Cost Plus World Market has a fun array of Nostalgic Candy Purses from 1960′s, 1970′s and 1980′s.
The 1980′s Nostalgic Candy purse is just under $5. This 80′s bag would bring back such great memories for yourself or someone else as a gift. The purse contains favorite candies from the 80′s …such as: Red Hots, Sweet Tarts, Gobstoppers, Sixlets, Cry Baby, Razzles, Fun Dip, Laffy Taffy, Blow Pops and Nerds.
In the late 1950s, a San Francisco businessman turned traveler and importer began selling shiploads of hand-woven wicker from one of the city’s piers. As crates were unloaded, locals lined up and loaded up. Even curious tourists were drawn to the unique and unusual.
With such a receptive audience eagerly awaiting his return, it only made sense to open a store. And in 1958 he opened the first store in San Francisco’s famed Fisherman’s Wharf and called it Cost Plus World Market. The store quickly became a destination for those who craved original and handmade items from around the world. Items were sold at cost, plus ten percent – hence the name Cost Plus World Market!

Madras Half Moon Hamper, would LOVE to have it. I have been getting their little catalogs for a while but didn’t figure I would ever get to go in a store but I did. Lol. I was so excited to walk around a corner in San Diego and ran into one. It was so much fun.
