Review – Covered Baker’s Half Sheet by Nordic Ware

Can you ever have enough bakeware in your kitchen cabinets? I do a lot of baking and love every second of it. I guess I would say that baking is one of my favorite pastimes. One of my favorite sites to browse and purchase bakeware sets from is Nordic Ware. I love the layout of their website because they break down their bakeware section into categories so that everything is easy to find. Nordic Ware also offers cookware, microwave and barbecue products that are all made in the USA.

I have always wanted to own a Covered Baker’s Half Sheet. I tend to bake a lot of goodies and then have left overs that I don’t know what to do with afterwards. The covered top is made out of plastic that is also raised. The top locks into place right over the cooking sheet so that you can keep your food fresh and unexposed to air. This two piece set also makes it easy to take with you anywhere you go.

I decided to make semi homemade cinnamon rolls as a surprise breakfast for the kids and hubby one morning. I had never made cinnamon rolls before and was eager to try out my new aluminum bakeware. I was so impressed at how evenly the rolls baked.

The Baker’s Half Sheet is made out of aluminum and has galvanized steel reinforcement around the rim for added strength. It also comes with a limited lifetime warranty. I was also impressed with the size…a big 18.625″x 13.25″x2.25″ for only $20!
