Product Review – Biodegradable Garbage Bags by Recircle Brands

Biodegradable Garbage Bags

I have honestly never really thought too much about the fact that plastic trash bags are really damaging to our Earth. Have you? I also didn’t realize that your typical trash bag takes approximately 2,000 years to biodegrade. So, that makes me wonder what my trash bags are really made from.

Never fear… RecircleBrands is here to save the day! They have made Eco-friendly trash bags that biodegrade in only 2 years. Bag Ups are available in a variety of sizes: 13 Gallon, 30 gallon, 40 Gallon, 45 Gallon and 55 Gallon Bags. They are made in the USA and are packed and assembled by Veterans and people with disabilities.

Bag Ups are so easy to use! You pull one trash bag out of the top of the box and leave the box inside your trash dispenser. When you are ready to take the trash out, simply detach the existing bag (along the perforations) and the new bag will be ready to use. My old trash bag didn’t have an easy system like that.

Bag Ups are extremely strong and hold a lot of garbage. The 13 gallon trash bags measure 24″x30″ and have a .7 mil thickness. These biodegradable trash bags are also green in color and tend to remind me that I am making a Green decision to use a better bag for the Earth.

ABOUT BAG UPS (From their website):

BagUps eliminates searching for another trash bag when it needs to be changed. Just drop BagUps into your trash can and pull up on the first bag. When the bag is full, pull up and another bag is attached to take it’s place. Tear off the old bag at perforation and it’s ready to go!
